1. Important Notice
SaveTrip is a technology platform only. We do not provide transportation services. All bookings are made directly with independent bus operators, and refund policies are determined by those operators.
SaveTrip acts as a facilitator between passengers and bus operators. We assist in processing refund requests, but the final decision and refund amount are determined by the bus operator's terms and conditions.
2. Operator-Specific Policies
Each bus operator has their own cancellation and refund policy, which may include:
- Different cancellation timelines and refund percentages
- Non-refundable booking fees or service charges
- Varying refund processing times
- Special conditions for partial cancellations or rescheduling
It is your responsibility to review and understand the specific operator's refund policy before making a booking.
3. General Refund Guidelines
While policies vary by operator, typical refund structures include:
Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before Departure:
Usually 70-90% refund, less cancellation charges
Cancellation 12-24 Hours Before Departure:
Usually 50-70% refund, less cancellation charges
Cancellation Less Than 12 Hours Before Departure:
Usually 25-50% refund or no refund
After Departure or No-Show:
No refund

4. How to Request a Refund
Contact the Bus Operator
Reach out to the bus operator directly using the contact information provided in your booking confirmation.
Contact SaveTrip Support

Provide Booking Details
Have your booking ID, passenger details, and reason for cancellation ready.
Wait for Processing
The operator will review your request and process the refund according to their policy.
5. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by the bus operator:
- UPI/Digital Wallets: 3-5 business days
- Credit/Debit Cards: 7-14 business days
- Net Banking: 5-10 business days
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. SaveTrip is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are typically not provided in the following cases:
- No-show at the boarding point
- Missing the bus due to late arrival
- Cancellation after departure time
- Failure to carry valid identification
- Violation of operator's travel policies
- Bookings made under non-refundable fare categories
7. Operator Cancellations
If a bus operator cancels a trip:
- You are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount
- The operator should offer an alternative trip or rescheduling option
- SaveTrip will assist in coordinating the refund or alternative arrangement
Note: SaveTrip is not liable for any consequential damages or additional expenses incurred due to operator cancellations (such as hotel bookings, connecting travel, etc.).
8. Partial Cancellations
If you booked multiple seats and wish to cancel only some of them, the refund will be calculated for the cancelled seats only, subject to the operator's cancellation charges.
9. SaveTrip's Role
SaveTrip's responsibilities in the refund process are limited to:
- Facilitating communication between passengers and operators
- Processing approved refunds through our payment gateway
- Providing customer support and assistance
- Maintaining records of refund requests and transactions
SaveTrip does not determine refund eligibility or amounts. These decisions are made solely by the bus operator.
10. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- First, contact the bus operator directly to resolve the issue
- If unresolved, contact SaveTrip support at info@savetrip.in
- Provide all relevant documentation (booking confirmation, communication records, etc.)
- We will review the case and attempt to mediate with the operator
Please note that SaveTrip's ability to resolve disputes is limited as we do not control operator policies or decisions.
